For my final project in my visual literacy class I produced a website that summarizes my beliefs about the importance of visual literacy, projects ideas, and resources for implementation.
I’ve never used InDesign before, so it was a challenge to align everything just so and learning how to color things was really non intuitive, but I watched some tutorials and figured it out 🙂
In our classes, we couldn’t watch all episodes in full. So, find them below, watch them, and share them with friends, if you want to. Making comments on this post is optional. But Scroll further to find your Week 2 blog post. You are required to comment on that post.
1) Episode 1: The Difference Between US
2) Episode 2: The Story We Tell
3) Episode 3: The House We Live In
More projects from my visual literacy class. This week we needed to redesign a website. I chose to redesign the page of my favorite bookstore, using responsive elements and a flat design philosophy. My classmates are going to pick apart this mock up, so we’ll see what it looks like after review 🙂

Some photos I took last semester that speak to me about education and its larger social goals.
A small lecture I put together for a 7th grade world history class. I was trying to give them some background knowledge before turning them loose on an independent project.
